About Danielle Lavigne

Danielle Sarah Lavigne is a 21-year-old artist from Dublin, Ireland. She writes comic books and comic strips, short stories, poetry, the occasional novel and songs. She interviews people she finds interesting and she used to write reviews. Sometimes she draws pretty pictures. Othertimes she writes weird meta-universe stuff for TV shows.

Danielle has been an activist, an editor, somewhat giddy, angry, pedantic, and in love.

She realeased her first EP, Stagefright At Traffic Lights, in order to learn about recording and to get her work out to the world. It is no longer available legally online. Maybe you could torrent it if it were popular enough. She has begun working on her first album-like-thing. It will be released whenever it is convenient.

Ms. Lavigne also translated Alex de Campi and Christine Larsen’s Valentine into Irish (Gaeilge) and currently helps to run the National Irish Science Fiction Convention, Octocon.

She tweets here, Facebooks here, and rambles here.

Danielle lives in seclusion with some dogs and a human, at least one of which she is related to. She has too many comics, books, CDs and teddies. She likes cocktails, wine, tea and cheese. Her partner lives too far away.
